Frequent strong winds have been experienced this summer. In early August, while working on a rooftop distributed project in the east of Kunshan, Jiangsu Province, Mowintech faced an incident where several modules being installed were blown down by a sudden strong wind. Mowintech promptly contacted the module manufacturer, Runergy Solar, to assess the safety of the modules. Despite both parties’ confidence in the module products’ ability to withstand such conditions, to ensure products’ quality, Mowintech and Runergy immediately engaged the third-party agency to conduct comprehensive module testing. The authoritative testing confirmed that the Runergy 550Wp high-efficiency double-glass modules used in the project were of excellent quality, thus securing a perfect score for customer satisfaction.
Project Introduction
Mowintech boasts a senior team with over 15 years of experience in the photovoltaic industry, specializing in photovoltaic distributed power generation projects’ general contracting and investment. The current project is also being constructed by Mowintech, utilizing Runergy 550Wp high-efficiency double-glass modules. The project is scheduled to be connected to the grid for power generation by the end of August. Upon completion, the project is expected to generate 513,600 kWh annually, which is equivalent to saving 145 tons of coal, reducing 363 tons of carbon dioxide emissions, and planting 500 trees.
Unexpected Test
In early August 2023, a rooftop distributed project in Kunshan Economic and Technological Development Zone was in the midst of intense installation. Kunshan was experiencing frequent strong convective winds during the summer season. As the PV modules arrived on-site, the Mowintech team, who were the general contractors for the construction, hoisted and placed the components in their designated locations. However, the weather suddenly changed, and gusts of wind blew several modules that had been placed but not yet fixed to the ground. In order to ensure customer satisfaction and product quality, Mowintech team promptly contacted module manufacturer Runergy to assess the safety of the affected modules.
The “Strong Grass” Against the Gale
Upon receiving the notice, Runergy promptly initiated a response plan, dispatching a technical team to the project site to conduct an inspection. In collaboration with the Mowintech team, we agreed to involve a third-party testing agency to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the affected modules, ensuring product safety. The test results confirmed that the Runergy modules were free of any defects. This outcome fully exemplifies Runergy’s dedication to product quality and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Customer Feedback
Mowintech speaks highly of this collaboration, stating that it provided them with a deeper understanding of the exceptional quality of Runergy’s modules and enabled them to experience Runergy’s high-quality after-sales service. Such feedback is an honor for us, and it motivates us to continue striving for better products and services to meet our customers’ needs.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Mowintech for their trust and support in Runergy. We will continue to work diligently to improve our products, catering to the ever-evolving needs of our customers. We eagerly anticipate establishing closer partnerships with numerous customers, including Mowintech, and working together towards promoting the growth of photovoltaic power generation.
