Runergy’s N-Type Modules Achieve Top Ranking in PV Magazine’s Latest Test

Runergy has been ranked first in PV Magazine’s latest module test, a leading global authority in photovoltaic media. The company’s N-type 144-piece half-cell modules have claimed the No. 1 spot for energy yield among bifacial modules. In indoor performance testing, these modules achieved an impressive average score of 92, solidifying their status as industry leaders in both performance and reliability, and further affirming the superior quality of Runergy products.

The PV Magazine Test, initiated by the PV Magazine Group, is a specialized assessment of photovoltaic module quality and performance. The PV Magazine test involves a range of indoor tests, including visual inspection, EL image inspection, low irradiance and temperature behavior, PID (Potential Induced Degradation) resistance, as well as outdoor performance tests. As one of the most influential assessment programs in the photovoltaic industry, this test provides reliable information that helps customers identify high-quality products, earning the trust of clients worldwide. For this testing, leading consulting firm CEA was invited as a third-party technical expert to oversee the entire process, ensuring the authority and impartiality of the results.

In indoor tests, Runergy’s high-efficiency N-type module excelled in key evaluation criteria such as appearance, EL, weak-light performance, temperature coefficients, and PID, achieving an impressive average score of 92, placing it firmly among industry leaders. Notably, in the critical reliability tests for PID and the selected LeTID sub-projects, Runergy’s high-efficiency N-type module achieved a perfect score of 100, demonstrating exceptional stability in challenging outdoor environments.

The outdoor performance test is the most intuitive and effective method for assessing module energy yield performance. In August’s outdoor test for N-type bifacial modules, Runergy’s high-efficiency N-type module achieved an outstanding output of 152.80 Wh/Wp, topping the monthly rankings. Thanks to its excellent temperature coefficient and low light performance, this module delivers exceptional energy yield and reliability even under extreme conditions of low irradiance or high temperatures, ensuring efficient and stable operation in actual environments.

Runergy will continue to explore and implement more efficient, reliable, and safe solar energy solutions, driving industry transformation through advanced technology and superior manufacturing.
